We believe
30 Shekels embraces every single human being as an image-bearer of God, the Almighty. As a result, we believe in the practice of unfettered servant-hood and the demonstration of love for all. We do not, however, condone or accept as our own the practices and beliefs of everyone. We reject, as sin, lifestyles which violate God's Law. When we, ourselves, violate that Law, we confess the violation and repent of it. Because of our own inherent propensity toward sin, we do not condemn those who sin and who do not yet believe in Yeshua. We believe in the dignity of every human being from the point of conception forward and in the preservation of all life in light of this belief. We believe that charity and love are the highest calling of every child of God. We also believe, however, that this calling is an individual one and that of the body of Believers and not of the State. We believe that praying for and healing the sick, feeding the hungry, sheltering the homeless and serving our fellow man is the work-a-day stuff of true Christianity.
30 Shekels believes Jewish People have been set apart by God for His purposes in an eternally-binding Covenant with Abraham. We do not believe that Covenant can be broken at any time. We will explore this matter at length in the months to come. "...I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and to your descendants after you..." Gen.17:18We believe that Gentile Believers are "grafted in" as God's children by the atoning blood of Yeshua. "...For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God... you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, Abba! Father!" Romans 8:14-17 (NAS)
